| Vacation Travel Manager (Montreal)
Voyages Solex has been acquired by MKI Travel, a Travel Management Company approaching $75 million in annual sales, and growing. MKI is seeking a qualified manager to assist in the development of a national vacation travel program while directing the daily activities of its newly acquired operation in Montreal. The Vacation Travel Manager will be responsible for supervision of 12+ vacation consultants and MKI's growing network of independent contractors. Responsibilities include: assisting to develop and implement a marketing action plan; developing and implementing a strong database management platform; recruiting and developing professional vacation consultants; addressing and resolving customer complaints. The ideal candidate will have: - 10+ years of direct supervision of vacation or retail travel consultants - Expertise with Sabre GDS and Web fare integration - Experience working in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) environment - Proven selling techniques and a strong understanding of retail travel - Experience and success collecting fees for service - Fluent in both English and French verbal and written communication For the full job description and more information, please visit the Careers section at www.mkitravel.com |
